What to Expect on Your
First Appointment

During your first appointment you will be asked to fill out a medical and dental history and asked any orthodontic insurance information. Our caring staff will try to address your needs and concerns.

The patient will receive a thorough examination, evaluation and consultation with Dr. Paterno. There is no charge for this evaluation. If you or your child is ready for treatment a treatment plan or possible treatment options will be given along with an estimate of the treatment fee. Our staff will be glad to discuss payment options and insurance concerns with you as well before treatment begins.

A thorough orthodontic diagnostic work up will be next including digital photography and x-rays and impressions will be completed prior to the start of treatment. Provide us with your dental information so that a detailed letter of our findings and treatment plan can be sent to you or your child’s general or pediatric dentist.
